The Venus flytrap captures flies and small animal for food. It lives near Wilmington, North Carolina. They have bristles and it is green. Healthy Venus Flytraps make flowers in the spring. The edges of the Venus flytrap trap’s leaves are filled with calledcilia which is like teeth. Venus flytrap’s can live underwater but only for a short amount of time.

My flower is a cactus. It looks like a shrub or a tree. It grows in South Western U.S.A, central South America., And Southern Canada one interesting facts is some cactus flowers collect water from the mist in the winter. Cactus flowers can grow on one another. They also long tubes up to 30 centimeters.

A rose is a pretty flower it looks like a red puffed up flower. It is a flower that is my birth flower. It is the prettiest flower I have seen. It is a flower that grows on the bushes
that are all over the state. They can be in Hawaii too. They grow in the sun light and to help it grow give it water. They have to be grown in the summer when it is warm.

The flower that I chose to do my report about is the sunflower. It is a very famous
flower. Sunflowers are brown, yellow, purple, and green. Sunflowers grow in Kansas.Sunflowers in the bud stage exhibit heliotropism. At sunrise the faces of most sunflowers are turned towards the east. The stem stiffens and the blooming stage is reached.
Roses

A rose grows in rain forests people like them because the flower is pretty. The flowers smell good. Some roses are red and pink roses have thorns. It has a center with petals going it. It is interesting that it `grows in the rainforest. Red symbolizes love, respect, romance, courage and passion. Red and white roses together signify unity.
