Petunias
By: Stormey

A petunia has all different kind of colors flowers. They have green leaves and then can be purple, pink and red. A Petunia when growing them is best to leave them in full sunlight, and only water them when their soil is dry to the touch.   Petunias are native of South America. They are often sold as annual plants and even though commonly though to be annuals, petunias are perennials. The popular flower got its name from the French which took the word petun ‘tobacco’ from a Tupi-Guarani language. A wide range of flower colors and sizes are available.

My Red Rose Report
By: Ryan

Roses can be red or white. Both of them have thorns and the stems that are seven inches long. Roses have nine leaves on each branch. My favorite rose is the red rose. The reason why I like the red rose is because red is my favorite color in the world. Roses are grown commercially and in homes gardens. Hybrids are developed with much planning and great care.

Jasmine the Flower
By: Jazmon

Wild jasmine lives along rivers and in tropical climates. The yellow jasmine reminds us of the great wealth of our gardens and flowering trees and shrubs. As companions to the jasmine we have several species of ornamental currants and gooseberries. The flowers appear on the young wood and the old wood alike. Sometimes we see them on the rough stem or the trees as though fixed there by some eccentric genius to deceive us. They grow in the southern states of Atlantic, Mexico and Guatemala.
