The flower that I picked for my plant report is the poppy. One thing I learned was that poppies have dark blue pollen. the California Poppy grows in California. You do not water Oriental Poppies after they bloom. There are more than four thousand different species of poppies. Poppies dislike to be transplanted.

My type of plant is Rosa Abraham Derby. My plant is large and it has a soft peach color on the inside of it and a yellow on the outside. I found several facts about the Rosa Abraham Derby. At the south equator there are no rose species around that area. The first rose breeder was the first president George Washington. The Biltmore estate in North Carolina has 2300 roses in their rose garden.
